Capturing Life's Moments

One Step at a Time

Meet Jacob

Videographer, Photographer, and Visual Storyteller

Hi, I’m Jacob - a freelance visual storyteller bringing ideas to life through video, photography, and editing. With an Associate’s in Photo Imaging and a Bachelor’s in Film and Video Production on the way, I blend creativity with technical skill to create visuals that stand out.

I capture real moments at milestone events like engagement parties and bridal showers. I cover the energy of sporting events, from track meets to baseball games, and create bold mock campaigns for brands like Nike, The North Face, and Byoma. I’ve also worked closely with models to create striking, expressive portraiture. Through it all, I’m driven to tell stories in fresh, compelling ways.

At the core of my creative journey is one belief:

“Everyone has a story to tell.”

No matter your background, upbringing, or the equipment you use, storytelling has the power to connect, evoke emotion, and leave a lasting impression. That’s what drives me to create visuals that not only capture moments, but make people feel something.

What makes me stand out?

I’m a visual storyteller whose adaptability has given me experience across multiple creative disciplines. I thrive in collaborative environments - actively listening, exchanging ideas, and offering thoughtful feedback to elevate every project.

With a background in design, lighting, pre-production, production, and post-production, I bring a versatile and flexible skill set to every stage of the creative process. I’m outgoing, and adaptable, which makes me comfortable and excited when taking on new challenges to creatively problem solve

I’m also certified in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Google Ads, combining creative vision with technical expertise.

My Story

I’m a Delaware native, shaped by my environment. As a kid, I always had a pencil in my hand drawing, imagining, creating - convinced art would be my future… even if I didn’t fully understand what that meant yet.

When I wasn’t helping with my family’s bounce house business, I was getting lost in my imagination, dreaming about making a living through my creativity. After high school, I went to college planning to pursue multimedia design, since traditional art had always been my outlet. But everything shifted when I took a photography class.

Since then, I’ve realized my goal never actually changed, I just found a clearer way to express it. Although I bounced from medium to medium like the always changing environment of delivering inflatables to strangers houses, one thing has always stayed constant:

I want to tell stories!

From childhood drawings and building worlds with Legos, to playing games, watching films, and now creating visual work - storytelling has always been the driving force behind everything I do.
